Ñeembucu

The Department of Ñeembucú is located at the southern zone of the confluence between the Paraguay and Parana Rivers, the capital city is Pilar, and it has been an area quite disconnected from the rest of the country until a few years ago, when their main routes were modernized. With a density of only 7.7 inhabitants per km2, its economic output is cattle raising, divided mainly between sheep and horses.
